CONVERTED MILL in Charente situated in the south west of France, Moulin de Chamby is in a peaceful, rural country setting in the small hamlet of Les Pins. Les Pins is about 60 miles south of Poitiers and is within a days drive from the channel ports (Approximately 300 miles from Caen, Le Havre, Cherbourg and St Malo, and 450 from Calais)
For complete relaxation, experience the peace and quiet of our converted water mill nestling in a wooded valley on the edge of a small hamlet, situated in 5 acres of mature secluded gardens along the banks of the little river Bonnieure, including three small islands. There is fishing on site. The area is dotted with small vineyards and fields of sunflowers, maize and wheat. A large variety of wild flowers abound in the hedgerows and there are many country walks. Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure and small market town of La Rochefoucauld are each about 6 miles away, the nearest large city is Angouleme, about 18 miles.
